Confession

This is my new obsession (sorry Daniel). I can't help it. Sam Worthington is beyond hot. When you watch him in his interviews and movies and all that...he is DE.LECT.UH.BLE. I fell in love with him in Terminator and am absolutely captivated by him in Avatar. Besides being totally and completely hot in the looks department, he's Australian. 'Nuff said.

Confession #4

Okay so I just saw the New Moon trailer and O.M.G.!! I have to confess that it sort of kick started my interest in Twilight again. After Twilight, I wasn't very excited about any of the other movies. I learned that Catherine Hardwicke wasn't going to be the director anymore and that was encouraging but I still wasn't feeling it. Twilight the movie just sucked hard. BUT!!! This one does look good. I was curious about what they were going to do with the wolves. I thought that whatever they came up with would be super corny. But, in the one shot that I saw of Jacob becoming a wolf, it looked pretty dang good. The acting looked a little better...but that's all irrelevant until the movie comes out. There was the one part where Bella gets the papercut and Kristen Stewart's acting was less than stellar. She can really suck. I hope that the dude that plays Jacob has better acting skills in New Moon than he did in Twilight. But if he doesn't, then at least his muscles will keep me entertained. He looks fantastic!! Anyhoo...I'm not counting down the days or anything but I do like what I saw. If this movie turns out super good my only regret would be that they should have had this new director do the first film.

Confession #4

I am secretly (or not so secretly) enjoying being jobless. Do I want to go back to work? Yes indeed. However, it is extremely nice not to have to. I dig it. In the two months that I have been laid off, I have never been bored. I have stuff to do all the time and if not...how can you be bored with a good book? You just can't. So although I am still very much available to work (anyone...anyone??), I could get used to this! Oh wait...I already have. Ha ha ha ha. :-)

I'm Not a Mushy Person But....

One of my oldest friends, Rachelle Kingsford, lost her brother last week to an unknown cause. I feel so bad for her and her family. She was so close to this brother, even though the age difference is 15 years. She's so heartbroken about it and last night at the viewing I couldn't help but cry. It gets me super sad when people lose loved ones. Death gets me all sorts of weirded out and I can't help but think how strange life really is. I confess I think about death a lot. My biggest fear is to lose someone I love so I can only imagine how the Kingsfords are feeling right now. Sigh.

Honest Award

So it's about time I get on that Honest Award 'Mana gave me. I got all giddy when I saw I made her list. I feel so famous now - feel free take my picture any time.

Here are the rules for the Honest Scrap award -
The honorees are to:
A) first list 10 honest things about yourself - and make it interesting, even if you have to dig deep!
B) pass the award on to 7 bloggers that you feel embody the spirit of the Honest Scrap.

Okay okay let's see....honest things...

1) I can out eat my husband on any day at any meal. I choose not to, however, because I am determined to still be a hot little wife in 20 years.

2) I have the BIGGEST little crush on my boss' son. Oh and he also happens to be the son of the H.R. chic, too and she happens to be my best friend here at the office. Nice, huh? So it should be no surprise that I have told NO ONE about this and luckily no one at work knows I have a blog. Phewww! But - Oh. My. Word. He is so gorgeous for 19. So many things about his looks and his personality that I could just eat up and lick up. And no - I don't mind dippin' into the cradle (if I could, that is). It's actually hot on so many levels. Judge me as you will - I care not.

3) Sometimes I don't answer phone calls (a lot of phone calls) at my work...which is bad...since I am the receptionist. What? Don't judge me. I have a chronic case of PeopleareStupidasHellandTelemarketersSuckButtholeandIwillgoNuckingFutsbeforeIcanfinallyquit thisjob. It's real.

4) I am addicted to rice pudding. I love it, love it, love it. And there is no better rice pudding than Senor Rico's. It's a good thing it doesn't have it's nutrional information listed on the package or it would probably scare me into not eating it.

5) I am very possessive of what's mine - and that includes people. I get very territorial. I don't like it when my sisters stupid friend likes to act like she knows my own sister better than I do and it makes me want to punch her in the freaking face. Repeatedly. And I don't like having to share my nephews with their other family. Not that it's a bad thing or anything. I think I was spoiled with Bronsynn cuz she was always just ours since the dad was never in the picture. I like my nephews all to myself just like I had Bronsynn all to myself. And all my friends are MY friends and belong to no one else etc, etc. You get the point.

6) With me being a clean freak, I still cannot bring myself to clean the bathroom shower on a regular basis like I would my toilet. I hate cleaning the shower. I mean...isn't it clean enough from the actual shower taking? Does everyone have that problem or is it just me?

7) I have a little weak spot for everything Australian. Especially hot Australian men with their hot Australian accents. One in particular would be the object of my desire* - Freaking. Daniel. Conn.* The hottest man I have ever seen*. He is so sinfully delicious that angels fly out of his freaking face and sing the Hallelujahs - naughty angels that is. I would not hesitate to throw myself on him and beg him for it.* There is seriously nothing sexier than a hot Aussie* - especially a large and ripped rugby playing Daniel Conn who gloriously poses naked for Naked For A Cause.

*Meaning of course if I wasn't already blissfully married to my true love who is hotter than sin by all definitions and occupies all roles in every fantasy. Love you babe! (hey - if you get Kate Beckinsale, I get Daniel Conn...just sayin').

8) I can belch louder and bigger than my husband. He hates it, of course. Not because I do it louder and bigger than him but because I sound like such a man and the last time he checked he was married to a woman.

9) Sometimes I wish I could go back in time (college and single days) and be even more of a hellian than I was. I find that odd cuz I would think most of the time people would go the opposite way.

10) I get tonz of anxiety. TonZ. Every time we have a bad storm of any kind...anxiety. Every time my husband or someone in my family travels...anxiety. I get anxiety about a lot of stuff. It used to be way worse, though. When I was a kid I would worry any time someone left the house and I wouldn't feel "okay" until everyone was back together under the same roof. I have a little bit of an OCD, too. Like when I lived with my parents I would get up in the middle of the night after I heard the last person come home and make sure all the doors were locked. Even now, if I lock the doors too early, then I have to go and check them again before I go to bed even if I am 100% sure I locked them already. It drives me nuts.

Okay so now the people of my choosing are:

Becky Westgate

Korianne Workman

Ashley Lunt

Brindee Loveless

(I am not doing seven because I am not exactly a popular blogger - I admit the truth: I am a blogger loser.)

Confession #3: Britney Spears

I am listening to Britney Spears new album Circus right now while I am working. I am still deciding if I am ashamed of that fact since I couldn't stand the chic when I was High School. However, while I am sitting at my desk completely ipod-less (I put my headphones into my computer and listen to all sorts of music online), I came across her album on Playlist and there are songs that I admit I keep re-playing because they are kinda catchy. Should I be concerned about this?

Confession #2: I FREAKING LOVE HALLOWEEN

So...I LOVE Halloween. LOVE IT!! I love decorating for it and dressing up and going to parties where everything is decorated and people are dressed up!! I can't wait to add even more awesomely 'scary' decorations to my collection, this year. I am aiming for a full on graveyard complete with fog and detached bodies {enter evil laugh here}. And speaking of decorations...here are a few I've made. They aren't scary but more cutesy which I do allow in minimal amounts.

This is my pumpkin - no carving needed. I like it a lot and it was the easiest thing ever.

And these are my little pumpkin spiders. They were kind of fun to make. They get the honor of being by my new skeletons. The skeletons are so farkin' cute because they are doing the "Hear No Evil, See No Evil and Speak No Eveil" thing. They make me smile.
I plan on posting more about my Halloween decorations because, as stated, it's my favorite time of year. So check back - DO IT OR DIE!!

Confession #1: I Like Reading Nicholas Sparks

If all goes as planned I will go home, work out, do a load of laundry, pick veggies from my garden, perhaps throw a bone to my dog and then settle in to read this:
YAY!!!!
Just released today and I snatched it up with greedy little fingers. I love reading his novels. It's not because its romance and in fact, I find his writing extremely repetitive in a way that really bugs me. I guess you'd have to read enough of his books to know what I am talking about. I do however, find myself sucked into every story he writes. I think I have enjoyed his last three releases (The Choice, Dear John and At First Sight) the most. I am somewhat excited to get this thing read so I can see where it falls in my ranks. Happy Reading to me!
